So what is a highlight video?

A highlight video is ideal if you don’t have the budget for a full videographer but want still want a video to look back on!

Highlight videos take moments from throughout the day and tell your story from start to finish. They combine a few different pieces of background music with little clips of audio to add in some magic and atmosphere.

Highlight video packages come with a 6-8 minute highlight video and a 1-2 minute short edit.

How is this different?

I film these on a creators camera mounted on top of my main camera to keep them affordable and unobtrusive. Unlike content creation, these are filmed ‘landscape’ as they’re designed to last rather than be shared on phones! I film on both a mounted camera and a static camera at key moments, like having a camera on a tripod at the back of the ceremony. I also use clip mics during the ceremony if you’re doing personalised vows or similar so I can include your audio, to make it extra special.

Any other options?

Yes! You can also opt to add on a speeches video. This includes full audio with a mic that’s shared with all of those doing speeches.

Do you have examples?

I have an example video that I filmed and edited on a full frame camera (rather than my creators camera) for you to check out below! I also have a highlight video filmed for socials in portrait rather than landscape. The concept is the same, the only difference is either the camera that’s been filmed on or the way the camera was mounted. Highlight videos can include personal audio recorded on the day, unlike the content creation which is video only.
