What kind of photographer are you?
I'm a lifestyle photographer, but what does that mean? Lifestyle photography takes all the best bits from documentary and traditional photography. You get all the comfort of direction and guiding with the freedom to be yourself. I run relaxed sessions full of emotion which are all about capturing you as you really are. I use beautiful outdoor locations and see it as my job to give you connected, memory making images. I won't force you into awkward poses, I won't make you or your children ‘cheesy smile’ or even look at the camera. I create images I hope you'll want to look back on for generations.

Where will my family and couple's session be held?
These sessions are held in outdoor locations all around the Berkshire area. I have a number of favourite spots, but am always up for finding new ones if you have somewhere special! Locations are picked for perfect light, stunning natural features and with you in mind.

Where will my newborn session be held?
Newborn sessions are held in your home, so much cosier than a studio. When you look back you'll remember cuddles in your bed, soothing in their nursery, giggles on the sofa - these are the locations I love to photograph your family in.

How long will my session be?
Outside lifestyle sessions usually last an hour, and we get so many great moments in that time! I allow two hours for newborn sessions, to give space for feedings, nappy changes and everything else that goes hand in hand with your little one.

What will my session be like?
Relaxed, fun, surprisingly easy! These are all things previous clients have said about my sessions. You just turn up and be you, I deal with the rest. You should go home feeling you've had a fun evening out with your loved one/s. You should go home feeling beautiful. Throughout the session I will guide and direct you so you don't have to worry about anything. Kids will be kids, I’m not worried about that so you don’t have to be either.

What should I wear?
The key thing in what you wear, is that you're happy in it. If you're comfortable and feel good, that shows in your images. Wear something you can move in, something you feel like YOU in. When it comes to what you wear as a group, avoid matching and instead aim to complement each other. Think of colour pallets instead of the same colour. Steer away from bright, neon colours and printed t-shirts, as these can be distracting. I love rich, jewel tones if you want pops of colour! Think of how these images will be used, what would you like to look back on? For more inspiration, visit my Pinterest page

How do I book?
When you get in touch, I send you over to my booking page to pick a date. I book family and couple's shoots into weekend evenings, and newborn shoots into weekday mornings. For outdoor shoots we book into Fridays but pencil in for the whole weekend, to give us the best chance of getting good weather! Once you're booked I give you access to my private clients lounge where you'll find more information on how to prepare for your shoot.

Will I get the digital photos from my session?
All my custom lifestyle shoots are all inclusive, you will get full resolution, edited digital files with printing rights after your shoot. I promise a minimum of 55 images for family and couples shoots, and 65 images for newborn shoots. I don't want to hold any images hostage, they're of you and your family! You'll receive a link to your online gallery where you can view, share and download you images.

Can I order prints and products from you?
I know how time consuming finding a good printer and getting round  to printing your images can be. Because of this, I offer a selection of services to you, including printing, framing, canvases and photo books at competitive prices - all available through your gallery. Although you get full printing rights with your digital images I can only guarantee colours and appearance when you print through me. Images need to be edited differently for different media, so I edit images either for screen, canvas or printing. This is due to the limitations that printing inks and papers carry with them. If you want to know any more about this process, just get in touch!
