Unique Brewery and church wedding! - Salisbury photographer

Joanna and Michael managed to make the combination of a traditional church wedding and a laid back brewery reception blend perfectly, I’ll let you look through and see how!

Getting ready!

Joanna and Michael got ready in the comfort of their family homes, with all the personality and benefits that they bring. Prosecco, darts and emotional letters. Personalised shoes, pets and heartfelt hugs. Prep photos tell the story of your day, from the anticipation in the early morning through to the nerves on your journey to the ceremony. Embrace the chaos!

The ceremony…

Their local church was just around the corner, within walking distance for Michael and his groomsmen. The ceremony was filled with tears, good music and so many personal touches. It was followed by a super colourful confetti through leading to beer by the river for group shots and a few sneaky portraits.

The Reception

We snuck in a few private moments by the river as well as the all important shoe change! The party then moved over to Phantom Brewery where everyone was treated to authentic Ethiopian food in a stunningly cool, laid back warehouse. Board games, beer and good food, exactly what everyone needed! The good vibes from the beer led everyone straight into speeches, full of big laughs and equally big tears.

Evening celebration!

Did someone say cake? Followed by more beer and dancing!? Yes, yes please!

Portraits

We escaped for half an hour to take a walk back to the river at sunset. It’s a real luxury of summer weddings, the longer day allows for more private time together in the excitement of the day. Plus, beautiful sunsets! Win win.
